Thundercry Blade & Soulshade Umbrella PvP Build
- Decent Damage
- Good Healing
- Incredibly Tanky
- Boring to play
- Slow
Overview
The
Thundercry Blade pairing with
Soulshade Umbrella makes for one of the most if not the most tanky builds in the game while remaining a competent damage dealer. This build is perfect for those looking to be the anchor of a team fight or act as a self healing bruiser in solo PVP scenarios. It works best in group fights such as in the guild PVP matches but it can perform well in arenas too.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways to add both damage and healing as it is easy to stack and keep up with
Echoes of a Thousand Plants constantly healing you when its active. The
Adaptive Steel adds extra crit damage to your Charged Skills like the
Avalanche or
Galecloud Cleave,
Battle Anthem adding even more damage once upgraded to affect players.
Exquisite Scenery adds some much needed extra speed to the
Thundercry Blade by letting you deal damage without having to charge up as much.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad is a good damaging Mystic Skill that deals good damage quickly but can also be used for its whole combo for even more damage. Regardless, the
Leaping Toad also applies a poison which adds another layer of damage.
Wolflike Frenzy is a great single target skill to knockdown and beat down an enemy.
Dragon's Breath can be used defensively to block enemies from attacking you upfront while also doing good fire damage.
Serene Breeze shouldn't be missed either as it breaks CC chains so you can counter.
Rotations
- Begin by activating
Echoes of a Thousand Plants on yourself so you can get constantly healed while fighting. Then, swap to the
Thundercry Blade with
Dual-Weapon Skill. You can then bait an attack and use
Predator's Shield to protect yourself while channeling
Sunrush Gale into a
Galecloud Cleave. Then, if you get the chance, carry on the offense with
Cloud Steps straight into
Guardian Palm for some serious damage.
