Mortal Rope Dart & Soulshade Umbrella PvP Build
- Good Mobility
- Good Healing
- CC Immunity
- Squishy
- Low Range
- Requires Setup for Good DPS
Overview
In this build, the
Mortal Rope Dart pairs with the healing
Soulshade Umbrella to create a potent DPS PVP Build that can also heal during solo PVP but also in group PVP. While it is considered off-meta, it is more than capable of doing damage while also healing through the use of
Echoes of a Thousand Plants. The build is perfect for those looking to play something different than what most people choose, a very fun off-meta build.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Morale Chant is one of the best Inner Ways for boosting both damage and healing, since it’s easy to stack and stays active with
Echoes of a Thousand Plants constantly healing you and others while it’s up. The
Vendetta is a good way of keeping up Tokens of Gratitude as it makes it so you can regenerate them with the
Bladebound Thread. Be sure to also constantly use
Dual-Weapon Skill in order to buff yourself with
Seasonal Edge.
Mystic Skills
Leaping Toad is a strong Mystic Skill that hits fast and can deal even more damage if you use the full combo, the third attack covering a large area as it lands. The
Leaping Toad also applies poison, giving you extra damage after a short time.
Talon Strike is a very strong skill in itself, capable of knocking down enemies and setting up the enemy player for a follow-up attack.
Dragon's Breath works well for defense, blocking attacks from the front while still doing solid fire damage. And don’t overlook
Serene Breeze, as it breaks CC so you can counter safely.
Rotations
- Use the
Rodent's Resilience to remain immune to crowd control (cc) before finding an opening to catch the enemy off-guard. You can prebuff with
Rodent Rampage before using
Bladebound Thread, going into using Light Attacks. You can follow up with
Soaring Spin to catch onto a fleeing enemy or go for
Cloud Steps into
Guardian Palm.
