This build is up to date for the September 23, 2025 patch.
Overview
This Enigma, Staff and Orb build focuses on dealing high amounts of AOE damage through the combination of staff and orb magic damage, capable of dealing high AOE damage to mobs and blowing them up with ease, helping clear even the highest tier content in the game like Raids or Dimensional Trials.
Attributes
PRIMARY

Dexterity

Perception
SECONDARY

Strength

Wisdom
With the unique stats and attributes system in Throne and Liberty, it can be difficult to determine exactly where to invest your attribute points at each stage of the game. This is because gear pieces provide attributes just like leveling up does, meaning everyone will have a different number of attribute points depending on what gear they are wearing at the time.
Given this variation, it's best to reset your attributes regularly to adjust to the new gear you acquire. Aim to reach the achievement effects, which provide extra benefits at milestones like 30, 50, and 70 points.
For maximum damage, prioritize Dexterity and Perception, as these scale your DPS the most and let you hit harder in every fight. A small investment in Wisdom is useful for extra mana regeneration, but damage stats should remain your top priority. Finally, make sure to put at least 30 points into Strength for a solid health boost.
Skills
The Staff & Orb Enigma is a good option for both new and veteran players that are looking to play an interesting class with a high skill ceiling and a decently high skill floor, requiring some good knowledge of both the game and the combos possible with Staff and Orb.
In terms of skills, your main damage will be coming from your
Judgment Lightning, fully charged
Serial Fire Bombs and of course the
Infernal Meteor. However, the damage from the Orb side of the build cannot be negated either as
Supernova Collapse,
Interstellar Explosion along with
Void Slash deal insanely high damage.
When it comes to passives, focus on
Flame Condensation to push your damage higher, while
Mana Amp gives you the extra mana you’ll constantly need.
Astral Overseer is especially strong since it not only raises your crit rate but also shortens the cooldown of
Starcalling, making it one of the most valuable options. You’ll also want
Pulsating Galaxy, which passively adds extra damage as you use skills. On top of that,
Stellar Echo and
Manaball Eruption provide reliable extra damage that builds naturally as you cycle through your abilities.

You should be aiming to reach and unlock masteries (the corner nodes) as soon as possible as they usually make the largest impact in the build. While minor nodes shouldn't be forgotten, make sure to unlock masteries as fast as possible before spreading out and spending into less important nodes.

Rotations
- This rotation is focused on delivering the highest possible damage through the use of Staff skills. Make sure to put

Summon Satellite on a party member. Then, start the rotation with
High Locus to buff yourself before using
Serial Fire Bombs to apply damage and burn stacks. Continue with
Judgment Lightning (2 times if it procs).
- Continue the rotation with

Summon Constellation so you put down 3 orbs before using
Void Slash quickly followed by
Interstellar Explosion. Use
Starcalling to put down 3 more orbs then use
Stellar Dash for some extra damage (keep in mind that these projectiles go through targets). Finally, wrap up the rotation by triggering
Supernova Collapse and channeling
Infernal Meteor before you use
Temporal Leap to lower CDs.

High Locus: You should use this essentially on cooldown or in the beginning of rotations.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you heal more often. However, you can also use Shade Revenant Stheno or Geen Ranger Elowen if you are looking to deal extra damage or root enemies if you are in a party that has to burst down enemies quickly or lock down groups.
