This build is up to date for the September 23, 2025 patch.
Overview
The Crucifix is possible one of the highest APM classes in Throne and Liberty, being very intensive to play as it requires a lot of button presses, with short ability cooldowns that can challenge even veteran players that are looking to play something that takes a bit more effort than other classes.

Wisdom
With the unique stats and attributes system in Throne and Liberty, it can be difficult to determine exactly where to invest your attribute points at each stage of the game. This is because gear pieces provide attributes just like leveling up does, meaning everyone will have a different number of attribute points depending on what gear they are wearing at the time.
Given this variation, it's best to reset your attributes regularly to adjust to the new gear you acquire. Aim to reach the achievement effects, which provide extra benefits at milestones like 30, 50, and 70 points.
Prioritize Dexterity and Perception for maximum DPS, as they boost your damage the most. Add a bit of Wisdom for mana regeneration if needed, but keep damage as your main focus. Lastly, invest at least 30 points into Strength for a reliable health boost.
Skills
The Crucifix main power comes from its low cooldown abilities like the
Quick Fire coupled with
Summon Satellite and of course
Stellar Dash while buffing damage with
Distortion Veil to bring the damage to ridiculous levels, capable of bursting down targets in seconds.
As if made for eachother, the crossbow and orb passives sync very nicely
Stellar Echo offering extra damage as you use more abilities, launching projectiles from both yourself and the orbs nearby. This damage is further boosted thanks to
Rift Fracture as the Crucifix is more than capable of dealing a lot of Critical Hits in a short rotation. This is further boosted by the Crossbow passives like
Eagle Vision and
Ambidexterity.

You should be aiming to reach and unlock masteries (the corner nodes) as soon as possible as they usually make the largest impact in the build. While minor nodes shouldn't be forgotten, make sure to unlock masteries as fast as possible before spreading out and spending into less important nodes.

Rotations
- Start by buffing yourself with

Distortion Veil,
Summon Satellite on a party member and
Mother Nature's Protest before using
Selfless Diffusion.
- Begin the damaging rotation with

Mortal Mark followed by
Quick Fire before using
Starcalling to summon orbs. Keep spamming
Starcalling until you have put down 3 orbs while using
Quick Fire as it comes off cooldown. Once you have 3 orbs down, use
Stellar Dash repeatedly with its low cooldown alongside
Quick Fire as they come off cooldown.
- Use

Summon Constellation on top of the enemy/boss then use
Void Slash. Carry on using
Quick Fire and
Stellar Dash as they come off cooldown alongside
Void Slash while maintaining
Mortal Mark up as much as possible alongside the
Distortion Veil &
Summon Satellite (on a DPS) buffs up. Once
Selfless Diffusion along with your other skills, use
Temporal Leap to get them back and reset the rotation.
The rotation takes some time to get used to and relies on high APM to press all buttons quick enough as they come off cooldown, but it can also be freestyled quite a bit, be creative.
Useful Information
- Select Lady Knight Kamarshea as your guardian; it provides essential protection with its shield, capable of absorbing damage equal to 50% of your mana. This not only aids in mitigating damage but also increases your cooldown speed in order to let you heal more often. However, you can also use Shade Revenant Stheno or Geen Ranger Elowen if you are looking to deal extra damage or root enemies if you are in a party that has to burst down enemies quickly or lock down groups.
