Ranger SP PvE Build
- High AOE DPS
- Easy to Play
- Amazing Solo
- Good DoT damage
- Squishy
- Gear Dependant
- Needs High Weapon Mastery
Overview
This Ranger build focuses on the high damage done through building up SP (Spell Power), capable of taking on and clearing all PVE content with ease as this build type is considered one of, if not the most potent DPS builds in corepunk. While powerful, it requires good (and sometimes expensive) artifacts while also requiring a high Weapon Mastery investment as the build only starts functioning once you get Acidic Barrage. It gets considerably better once you level up your talents too with
Piercing Onslaught and
Chrono Cascade being important upgrades for cooldown speed and DPS.
Skill Bar

Net Shot: Great for CCing and controlling the position of mobs caught in it, once upgrade it also reduces their resistances thanks to
Corrosive Restraint. However, there is a 2nd part to this skill which comes from
Inferno Arrow which activates whenever you hit a target with
Net Shot, letting you shoot another arrow that deals damage as it passes through enemies then explodes.
Arrow Rain: This is your main damaging skill, dealing high SP damage while also leaving behind an Acidic Cloud that can be later used to do extra damage by increasing its duration with
Venomous Infusion.
Barrage Stance: Offers two modes: Normal Stance, which pierces some enemy armor, and Barrage Stance, which fires extra arrows at the cost of mana. However,
Venomous Infusion makes it so you can shoot an arrow that deals poison damage and also increases the duration of
Arrow Rain's Acidic Cloud.
Saltation: A straightforward but powerful AOE attack that also disarms enemies. It makes you leap backwards on cast, which is excellent for repositioning or escaping danger.
Harpoon Arrows: The Ranger’s special ability makes auto-attacks embed arrows into enemies while boosting attack speed. Activating the skill consumes those arrows, releasing a burst of bonus damage.
Mana Boost: This skill is crucial for leveling and sustaining mana. Use it whenever it’s off cooldown, especially when running low. With proper management, it can keep you going for long stretches without needing consumables.
Cleanse: Great for clearing debuffs, perfect in many situations.
Equipment

Chips: Cryptic Empowerer is an obvious choice for damage boosting thanks to SP while
Enigma Circuitry further increases damage. File:Sorcerous Corer-epic.webpSorcerous Corer is another good choice to consider if you can afford it.
Runes: Cold Wind is perfect as it helps you stack more SP every time you get an assist or kill a mob.
Heavy Chainmail is a way to keep safe and not die from mob burst damage.
Gear: Havoc Diskblade provide high SP which is very important to deal high damage while
Invictus Plate and
Magitech Visor offer armor. You can swap the
Magitech Visor for
Ethercoil if you need magic resistance.
Consumables: Use Bread alongside
Sweet Baked Pumpkin to recover HP and Mana. For extra stats,
Absurd Pills adds extra magical crit chance, and
Magic Bomb offers even more Spell Power. Along with those, you can also use the
Lucky Salad to boost magical critical rate.

Rotations

This is a very simple rotation, use Acidic Barrage (
Arrow Rain) two times and build up stacks of
Piercing Onslaught before using
Net Shot so you can shoot out
Inferno Arrow and explode the gas clouds. You normally don't have to use
Saltation but you can use it instead of
Net Shot to finish off mobs instead.
