Overview

Celestial Sharetiquary is an Antiquary build focused on sharing various effects such as boons and venoms with nearby allies to maximize their effectiveness. The entirety of the recommended gear is cheap and available from the trading post, making the build easy to set up even if you're a brand new player. All you need is some gold and enough hero points to unlock Possessive Hoarder and you're running at full effectiveness. It's also quite easy to pilot, featuring a simple gameplan and high survivability.

Skill Variants

Heal skill

The default heal is Signet of Malice which provides a heal each time a skill deals damage, and this is usually enough to keep you alive even against Champion-strength mobs. If you want a more standard heal though, you can run Skelk Venom. Alternatively, Withdraw provides another dodge and Hide in Shadows can be good for temporarily dropping aggro and cleansing conditions.

Utility skills

In the empty slot, any of the following can be taken:

  • Canach-Coin Toss - This is a great general skill to have for offense and defense. Use it when you're suffering from conditions or need more initiative.
  • Thousand Needles - A very nice AoE damage option that also roots enemies in place. Take this if you want more damage.
  • Caltrops - If you're playing with Rune of Superior Rune of the Krait this will be your best damage option on longer fights.
  • Roll for Initiative - A defensive skill that breaks stuns and refunds 6 initiative.
  • Emergency Jade Shield - A good stunbreak against enemies who frequently stun. Can be reactivated early with a chance of exploding.
  • Signet of Shadows - Provides a passive movement speed boost and can be activated to apply 10 Vulnerability Vulnerability to targets in an area, which translates to +10% damage. Good if you don't like relying on Thrill of the Crime for Swiftness Swiftness.
  • Shadowstep - Teleports you to a location as far as 1200 units away and also breaks stuns. Can be used to skip past enemies, up terrain, etc..
  • Shadow Refuge - This is a good skill to temporarily slot while doing events that require long channel times that would otherwise be interrupted by mobs attacking you.

Elite skill

For solo play, the best elite skill is Thieves Guild, as the thieves summoned both deal good damage and fully benefit from your Venoms/boons. However, for group play, you can switch to Basilisk Venom for high defiance-bar damage, or Skritt Scuffle if you're able to keep up with it.

Relic

If you are gearing this character from zero, start with exotic quality gear.

Every piece of gear you want for this build is purchasable from the trading post.

  • Search the trading post for "Celestial" armor and purchase a set.
  • Your weapons will be cheaper: search for "Blood Moon" weapons. These have selectable stats (right click on them and select "customize") and as of 2026 are half the price of other exotic celestial weapons. Purchase two daggers and a shortbow.
  • For accessories, rings, and your amulet, purchase Charged Quartz Orichalcum jewelry. You'll need two rings, two earrings, and one amulet.
  • If you're on a tight budget, you can alternatively purchase Black Diamond Orichalcum jewelry for these slots.
  • For the back item, purchase a Lucky Great Horse Lantern, or whichever similar exotic lantern is cheapest. After purchasing, right click > customize and choose Celestial.

Upgrade to ascended gear as you progress. See also: Guide:How to Gear a Character.

  • For your runes, purchase 6x Rune of Superior Rune of the Sunless.
  • For your relic, purchase a Relic of the Lich.
  • For your daggers, purchase a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Earth and a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Bursting.
  • The shortbow is primarily for mobility, so you don't have to buy the recommended sigils right away. Just use whatever you have.

If you boosted your Thief to 80 with a Level-80 Boost, you'll have the ability to get a full set of celestial gear via the included Level-80 Equipment Package. All you'll need to do from there is get a Relic and replace the armor runes and weapon sigils.

For defense, equip the highest tier Jade Core you can afford. You'll need a Jade Bot from End of Dragons to do this. If you don't have that expansion, don't worry about this.

Relic variants

  • You can use Relic of the Golemancer to trade some damage for crowd control while still retaining a pet. Take Pressure Striking if using this relic.
  • Relic of the Mirage is good if you'd rather not worry about a pet.

Rune variants

  • Rune of Superior Rune of the Zephyrite is another budget option. It gives a bit of everything including boon duration so it can be good if you're struggling to keep the boons you want up. Can be purchased from the auction house.
  • Rune of Superior Rune of the Krait is a very strong option vs. enemies that take a while to kill, such as Champions. Can be purchased from the auction house.
  • Rune of Superior Rune of the Trapper is harder to obtain but is your best option for damage. You'll have to level Armorsmithing, Leatherworking, or Tailoring to 400 to craft it.

Consumables

Budget consumables are acceptable for use in open world.

Usage

This build boils down to using your abilities with shared buffs, those being your Venoms and artifacts from Skritt Swipe, then using Death Blossom and autoattack chains until your venoms and swipe are off cooldown again. Your survivability is exceptional and mostly automatic: Death Blossom causes you to evade while defensive artifacts give you Protection Protection. Simply keep attacking and you'll stay alive.

Damage

  • If Thieves Guild is up, use it at the start of combat, then use Spider Venom and Skale Venom next to them and your Jagged Horror. After that, use Skritt Swipe and spam all the artifacts you get. It doesn't matter what order, just use them to buff yourself and your summons. Using artifacts grants you and nearby allies the Might Might, Alacrity Alacrity, and Protection Protection boons.
  • If you have nothing else to do, use Death Blossom or your autoattack chains until your venoms and Skritt Swipe are off cooldown.
  • Use your venoms, Skritt Swipe, and the artifacts it gives you each time they're off cooldown.
  • Always try and use your venoms before Skritt Swipe so they benefit from Improvisation's cooldown reduction.
  • Be sure to stand near your thieves from Thieves Guild or other players before using your artifacts and venoms.

Defense

  • Much of your tankiness is supplied by artifacts and evasion from Death Blossom. Simply do what you'd do to deal damage and it'll double as defense.
  • Signet of Malice heals you for each instance of striking damage your abilities do. Conditions don't trigger it, but many of the skills you'll be using hit multiple times, and thus will heal you multiple times.
  • Every time you use an artifact you'll gain a barrier of ~1000. While you have barrier you take 10% less damage from all sources.
  • Once you get more comfortable with the concept of the build, you can save the artifacts Exalted Hammer and Zephyrite Sun Crystal for defense, as they have strong defensive components.
  • Chak Shield is an artifact that creates a projectile-destroying shield.
  • If your enemy gives itself boons, you can use Skritt Swipe to steal three of them for yourself.
  • You can hide behind your summoned Jagged Horror (from Relic of the Lich) and have it tank for you momentarily. It has fairly low health health, but you can heal it and give it barrier by using artifacts while close to it.
  • If you need to quickly escape a fight, you can swap to your Shortbow Shortbow and use Infiltrator's Arrow to teleport away.

Crowd control

Unfortunately this build has little crowd control outside of random artifacts. However, this can be remedied by playing with an off-hand Pistol Pistol instead of the normal Shortbow Shortbow and spamming Head Shot.

  • Metal Legion Guitar
  • Choking Gas
  • If taken, Basilisk Venom
  • If taken, Head Shot (pistol 4)
