Heavenquaker Spear & Mortal Rope Dart PvE Build
- Easy to Play
- Good AOE DPS
- Self-Healing
- Takes time to get used to
- Cluttered visuals
Overview
This build focuses on pairing the self healing provided by
Mortal Rope Dart with the high AOE damage of the
Heavenquaker Spear which lets you kill a lot of enemies quickly but not without taking some damage as you spin. While this build isn't very difficult, it can take a bit of time to get used to, especially with the
Mortal Rope Dart having both extra resources and buffs you should keep in mind in order to maximize damage you and your rats do. Once used to it though, the
Mortal Rope Dart gets considerably better, especially when focusing on a single target.
Martial Arts
Inner Way
Morale Chant is a fantastic choice for boosting DPS as every hit has a chance to increase damage while also being one of the best damage Inner Ways in the game. Add
Bitter Seasons so you may apply poison to attacks, pairing well with the high amount of hits you deliver with this build.
Seasonal Edge is perfect as it adds extra damage to the build by using the weapon swap (
Dual-Weapon Skill). And of course,
Wolfchaser's Art helps with acquiring the buff from
Sober Sorrow.
Mystic Skills
The perfect CC skill for the build remains
Ghost Bind as it lets you setup a group of mobs for your combo of
Sober Sorrow &
Sweep All.
Wolflike Frenzy,
Free Morph and
Drunken Poet are fantastic skills for dealing damage quickly when dealing with a single target while also being very satisfying to use.
Guardian Palm can be used to burst down enemies with its high damage while
Tai Chi is great for CCing enemies.
Rotations
- Start in
Heavenquaker Spear before swapping to gain a damage buff. Then use
Rodent Rampage to summon the rat before using
Bladebound Thread (make sure you do full combo). Continue the rotation with
Drunken Poet before transitioning into
Wolflike Frenzy and finishing off with
Talon Strike
- Begin in
Mortal Rope Dart then use
Ghost Bind to freeze enemies together. Swap to
Heavenquaker Spear using
Dual-Weapon Skill to buff yourself and carry on with
Sweep All to debuff enemies so your next
Sober Sorrow deals more damage.
