Crusader - Greatsword + Sword PvE Build
- High AoE damage
- Tanky
- Low Skill Floor
- Below Average Single Target DPS
- Low DPS in Dungeons
Overview
This Greatsword and Sword build is tailored for efficiently grinding mobs in open-world areas or PVE events, excelling in dispatching large packs of enemies with short cooldowns and high resistances. It's ideal for grinding litograph items or completing contracts due to its effectiveness in swiftly eliminating multiple foes.
Attributes
Your priority should be to reach 30 points in both Dexterity and Perception before allocating the remaining points into Strength. This approach ensures higher HP, which synergizes well with Vital Force, providing additional damage.
Skills

Skill Priority

Since we utilize numerous high-level abilities, there aren't many active abilities you need to upgrade. This makes the build quite affordable and allows you to concentrate on upgrading your passives. This also makes it the type of build that one can switch to with ease, allowing you to play with Greatsword + Sword & Shield.
Passives Priority

Similar to the active skills, we rely on many high-level passives which keeps the cost for the build quite low. You should prioritize two passive skills: Resilient Mind and
Victor's Morale. These skills offer excellent sustain by providing mana and health regeneration when dealing damage with your skills or when you are evading attacks.

Greatsword:
Investing 9 points in Collision offers additional damage, weaken chance, and a boost to cooldown speed. Allocate two points to the Boss line for increased damage, and the remaining point should be placed into Provoke & Counter for improved melee defense.

Rotations

- Before starting your rotation, begin by pulling mobs near you using basic attacks, as stacking the mobs on top of each other is crucial. Once the mobs are stacked, activate your pre-buffs,
DaVinci's Courage and
Counter Barrier.
DaVinci's Courage grants you HP, while
Counter Barrier improves your Shield Block Chance, which synergizes perfectly with
Resilient Mind. Always initiate your damage rotation with
Precision Dash, as it provides an extra damage buff and heavy attack chance. Then, debuff the mobs using
Provoking Roar.
Annihilating Slash will make use of
Spectrum of Agony for additional damage, and
Devastating Tornado will finish off any remaining health on the mob. Use
A Shot at Victory to clean up if any mobs remain alive.

- An alternative rotation for dealing with lower HP mobs involves pulling the mobs together near a wall or structure, aligning them between you and the terrain. Use
Strategic Rush to push the mobs into the wall and stun them, then apply a defense debuff and some damage with
Willbreaker. Continue the rotation with
Devastating Tornado and
Valiant Brawl to finish off any remaining mobs.
Stalwart Bastion:
This ability serves as your panic button when you're taking too much damage and your passives aren't sufficient to keep you alive. It's also useful as a panic button if you've inadvertently pulled too many mobs.
Useful Information
- Select Green Ranger Elowen as your guardian; it roots people around you and can assist in executing your rotation. If you manage to root enemies using this guardian, you can effortlessly execute both rotations and eliminate groups of enemies on your own.
- For gear, aim to obtain the Reaper Set as it's currently the Best in Slot armor set for DPS. Additionally, it provides substantial boosts to dexterity and perception. Opt for
Tevent's Despair Blade as your greatsword, as it triggers an AoE explosion on targets you collide with while using
Strategic Rush, resulting in explosions everywhere as you pass through clumps.
Morokai's Corrupt Sword and
Magnaduke's Berserk Blade are also decent choices but your goal should remain
Tevent's Despair Blade.
Queen Bellandir's Blade is an excellent weapon for this build as it generates a quicksand area when you use
Annihilating Slash, trapping enemies for both you and your team.
Cornelius's Explosive Blade is a viable option until you acquire the Sword & Shield, providing additional perception, but it doesn't compare to
Queen Bellandir's Blade.
