Overview

This Ranger build focuses on leveling up in Ashes of Creation quickly by making use of the incredible AOE DPS the Ranger offers, with skills like Scatter ShotScatter Shot and DisengageDisengage at early levels, making it easy to clear out groups of mobs without any real issues, grinding XP quickly. Even though this Ranger build requires good knowledge of how to kite, it can still be picked up and played well even by new players once you've gotten the hang of it.

Rotations

Low Level AOE Burst Rotation ↴
  • First make sure that you have both File:-1Imbue Ammo: Weighted and Hunt of the TigerHunt of the Tiger active as it helps a great deal when kiting by staggering targets you hit. At the same time, Hunt of the TigerHunt of the Tiger greatly increases the crit damage you do.
  • Start the rotation by pulling mobs through the use of your bow auto-attacks before lining them up so you hit all of them when using Scatter ShotScatter Shot. Having them in a line helps a great deal once you have Concentrated Scatter ShotConcentrated Scatter Shot active as the width of the skill doesn't reach too far. Finish the rotation with DisengageDisengage then either wait for cooldowns before doing another pull or regenerate your HP.
